I Served Serial Joe a Slushie

The more I get involved with this committee at church, the more I realize how much work is done by volunteers. It is simply astonishing. I think it's the same with donations. Tons of people give donations of time and money to lots of different charities, but one hardly ever hears about it - they themselves are usually too modest to talk about it, and the news doesn't find it interesting. I guess I'm overly optimistic, but it seems to me that most people are genuinely caring individuals.
