I intended to write on Friday, but blogger didn't feel like working. So here's Fri, Sat., and Sun., all together:

Friday: Another Tale of Woe

So it was raining pretty badly on Friday morning, so I decided to take the bus to school. Of course, about 10 minutes into the bus ride, I realized I had just passed the rotary. If you don't know Halifax, that means there's a body of water between me and Dalhousie. Argh. I get off and walk to school from there, which is course is further than when I started off.

The day got better when I was informed about a library book sale. Seven books for six dollars.

Saturday: Mexican

Among other things on Saturday, we went to Mexico Lindo. It turned out to be the only good mexican restaurant I have ever been to. It said it was authentic, and the fact that it was different than the standard Mexican I have had seemed to agree with that. It was really quite good.

Sunday: San Andreas

Well, actually San Andreas has nothing to do with Sunday, but I felt like writing about it next. What I like is the things they've added that make a difference to the game. There's a lot they've added that doesn't make much difference to the standard GTA formula (clothing, more collectibles, more side missions, etc). But there are things that really improve the feel that one can do anything. Hopping over walls, swimming, and the larger area (with countryside) makes you feel you can go anywhere. Being able to use any vehicle (farm vehicles, trucks, trains, any kind of plane) makes you feel you can use anything. And having gangs and other people to do drive-bys with adds the feel of a real world.

However, I must admit: my favourite radio station is the country one. There, I said it.
