Today really felt like winter. It snowed (and stayed), and I stayed in home most of the day and played video games :)
My opinion of WoW has increased dramatically since my last post. The professions add a lot to the game, as does the talents skill-tree. In general, the place is pretty friendly, I've had some good times teaming up with random people, and I've gotten used to most of the points I was annoyed about.
I still think the game needs to be more explicit about, well, pretty much everything. Descriptions of quests, professions and skills all tend to be very vague. I also wish they'd fix their current server problems so I can play some more :)
I'm really surprised I haven't heard of any papers written about the economics of MMORPG's. My understanding is that economists are always looking to test out theories; what better place than in an artificial world? Anyone know of such work?
