One of the most interesting things about moving to Halifax has been comparing Dal and UWaterloo. Case in point: the undergrad math student societies. At Waterloo, they use the money for responsible things like cheap photocopies, computers, and exam banks. At Dal, they use the money to throw free wine and cheese parties. I think I know which one I prefer.....
