So, about that thing we're singing - I was talking about it last Thursday - turns out my guess of half an hour was too little. Fully sung, it takes an hour and a half. We're not quite doing all of it, so it'll be more like an hour, but, uh, wow. There are solos, duets, full choir bits, half choir bits, as whole as hymns in the middle of the thing for the congregation to sing as well. I get a two bar solo! I'm a evil-doer hanging on a cross, asking Jesus to save me or something like that. Anyways, it sounds cool :) What an amazing piece.

I turned in a bunch of ps2 games I hadn't been playing today and got something I'd wanted for a while - Burnout 3 - after hearing highly of it in a number of places. It's pretty sweet. If you've played racing games, you know the cool bits where you bump up against the other player and/or try to smash them into the wall? They've taken those parts, and made them the whole focus of the game. It's almost entirely about fighting with the other drivers, trying to smash them into things, and if you yourself crash, try to crash either spectacturly, or into other drivers. There's even a mode where you try to create as large a crash as you can. Of course, there's still racing, and drifting, and all that stuff, it's just that they've really fleshed out the completely unreal parts of the arcade racing experience :)
