Want to make some money? Here's an amusing way to do so that will anger friends and enemies alike! You, the auctioneer, offer up one of your shiny dollars to the highest bidder. However, both the highest bidder and the next-to-highest bidder pay you, with only the highest bidder winning your dollar. So, off the bidding starts, 1c here, 2c there, etc, etc...but no one wants to stop because they don't want to be the second-to-highest bidder. Enjoy the hilarity that ensues! (Of course, I didn't think of this, it's a real game theory problem. "Apparently" in real life, people have gone as high as $15 bids).

Here's a question: why are there no indepedent places that make good hamburgers any more? I'm thinking of that place in "the K-dub" (as M refers to Waterloo) where's there's now a Quiznos. You all know what I mean. I want a good hamburger damn it.
