I think I may have solved the problem I sent out to solve. I just checked it, it seems to work, but now I am going to go play soccer, take my mind off it, come back, and see if what I wrote down makes sense. I am trying very very very hard not to run down the hallways yelling. I am trying not to in case this all is wrong, but it seems ok. At this time I will permit myself a small woot.

I'm going to assume you're successful. My research is going slowly. It seems things I'm trying to solve are either trivial or impossible.

I know what you mean about stuff either being trivial or impossible. I remember that happening a lot during my second work term with Hare.

Amusingly, just a couple hours before I figured out something today, I had gotten to the point where I thought what I was doing was impossible.
