What an awesome day at school. Everything I hoped would work did. It was amazing. Here's a sample of how things went:
"Man, I don't know what to do".
"Well, if this function existed, and had these properties, maybe everything would work..."
"Wow, the function actually exists".
"Wow, it actually has all those properties".
"But I don't know if it's actually what I want..."
[Scribbled calculations]
"Well, I've reduced it to the following, seems pretty improbable..."
"OH MY GOD IT'S THE YONEDA LEMMA, THIS SHIT IS ACTUALLY TRUE"
Seriously, what a great day. And on my way home from school, there was some random cat rolling around on the sidewalk that let me pet it. Kick ass.

I love how you get just as excited about possibly discovering a new math function as you do about some random friendly cat. That's friggin' awesome.
