Fight the Power!
From John Baez's Week 239, I found some interesting news: the entire editorial board of the journal Topology resigned, in protest of the high prices which their publisher was charging for access to the journal. Publishing mathematics journals and books has long been a scam for publishers - let's hope this sparks more free/online journals.

Comments:
I completely agree, there is something wrong with the system.
They get articles for free, referees for free, how high can their costs be?
A number of profs I've had havee complained that the publisher has raised the price of books they've written beyond what they had been assured, there's definitely something rotten in that industry.
