One of my favourite things about Dalhousie:
"Just a reminder that this Friday is a University Holiday. It is Munro Day . George Munro gave a large sum of money to Dalhousie in the early 1900's. "
(an email from the math secretary this evening). It's the greatest holiday ever: middle of the winter, just when term is feeling too long, for no other reason than some guy gave us money. Awesome.
