Great article on the legend of Leeroy Jenkins. I find it highly amusing how much he actually is a celebrity - he's constantly harassed in game, his server is overloaded with people wanting to talk to him, his guild-mates are sick of the whole thing. He even had an in-game stalker; astonishing.
I have never been able to watch the video without laughing at the warcry, the "he's so stoned" or the ending "at least I have chicken".

thanks -- I'd never actually watched the Leeroy Jenkins video, but of course I knew of it. I like that the guild seems to be pretty self-aware (stupid names for white guys, bad guild name, etc.) but the story of Ben Schulz made me a bit sad. The article's really interesting, though.
When I read their guild name, I thought for sure it was fake. Surprisingly, the article showed that the guild is still around.
I also forget to mention how much I love the "Abdul, can you give us a number crunch real quick?", "Uh, yeah, we're looking at a 32.333 (repeating, of course) percent chance of survival...".
